QUETTA, May 29: The life fund of the State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC) has increased from Rs70 billion to Rs75 billion during the current financial year.
Regional chief for Sindh and Balochistan and director marketing of State Life, Agha Sharafat Abbas stated this while speaking at the award distribution ceremony of the Quetta zone the other day.
He said that SLIC was enhancing its business and in the coming years the corporation would take more steps for expanding business in the country.
About the performance of the field workers and area managers, he said that with their hectic efforts and hardworking the corporation’s business had become 35 per cent surplus.
He informed the participants that SLIC has decided to construct new State Life building in Quetta and board meeting of the corporation would approve this project in its meeting in June this year.
Agha Sharafat expressed the hope that target given to the area managers and other staff would be completed in the given time. He said that corporation had a plan to provide maximum jobs to the educated youths, including women in the province.
Zonal chief of SLIC Quetta, Kahlid Sheikh said that field workers and area mangers had achieved their target in the given time.
