QUETTA, Dec 12: Pakistan Oppressed Nations Movement chief Sardar Ataullah Mengal has condemned Friday's bomb explosion in the provincial capital and other such incidents in different areas of Balochistan in which innocent people were killed.

Talking to newsmen at the Khuzdar Press Club over telephone, he termed the explosions inhuman acts and expressed concern over the situation. "Invisible hands are behind these bomb explosions," Sardar Mengal said and told the rulers in Islamabad that Baloch nationalists believed in peaceful struggle for the achievement of their goal.

He alleged that the government was paving the way for launching an operation in Balochistan by implicating some nationalist parties in the bomb explosions. He alleged that elements which wanted to pave way for an operation were involved in bomb explosions and rocket attacks in Khuzdar, Kalat, Nushki, Turbat and other areas of the province.

"We are struggling in a peaceful manner for the achievement of our rights," he said and added that the rulers should stop pushing the Baloch towards the wall. He warned that if the attitude towards the Baloch nation was not changed it would have no option but to fight openly without targeting innocent people.

He warned that the federal and the provincial governments would be responsible for the repercussions of the situation. Replying to a question, he said he was aware of the people who were accepting responsibility of the blasts and other incidents.

He said the Baloch nation would not remain silent on the designs of the rulers and would reply in the same coin if any operation was launched against it.
