Expats' role in Pak-UK ties hailed

ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: Pakistanis living in the United Kingdom can play a vital role in enhancing the relations between the two countries. This was stated by Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz while talking to House of Commons Member Mohammad Sarwar who called on him here on Tuesday.

The prime minister said Pakistani expatriates were projecting a better image of their country in the UK. He appreciated the expat community for their role in promotion of health and education facilities in the motherland.

Mr Aziz said the government was making huge investment in the social sector. The civil society can also make a valuable contribution towards development and promotion of social sector, he added. On the occasion, Mohammad Sarwar congratulated Shaukat Aziz on assuming the office of prime minister.
