KOTLI, Sept 29: The AJK Public Service Commission has modified examination procedure for competitive posts and increased interview marks to 80, says a press release issued here on Wednesday.

The commission, through an amendment, has changed the procedure for Grade 16 and 17 appointments and increased interview marks from 20 to 80.

It has fixed 20 marks for academic career and 2 additional marks for masters having positions. A candidate during the PSC interview should get 45 marks in the relevant subject and 35 marks in Kashmir, current affairs, Pakistan and Islamic Affairs.

This was stated by Malik Zariat, Zakat chairman Raja Riasat, Prof Fayaz Raja, Binars Raja, Raja Khaliq Nawabi, Shabir Mughal, Ilyas Raja, Ibrar Nikyalvi and Malik Faiz in a joint statement released on Wednesday.

Sardar Sikander Hayat has launched record many development projects in the AJK, they said, adding that any step against the Hayat-led government would harm the progress of AJK and damage the Kashmir freedom movement.
