ISLAMABAD, Sep 6: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, on Monday, invited investors from the United Arab Emirates to benefit from the opportunities available in Pakistan. These, he said, offer good returns.

Talking to a delegation from the UAE led by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarrak Al-Nahyan, the Prime Minister said that the two brotherly countries enjoy good political and economic relations, adding that Sheikh Zayd bin Sultan Al-Nahyan is a great friend of Pakistan and has done a lot for its development.

There are better prospects in the field of hotel, information technology, oil and gas, construction and manufacturing, the Premier said and asked the UAE investors to explore these avenues.

Contacts between the people have strengthened the ties between the two countries which need to be augmented by furthering the economic relations. The ties, Shaukat Aziz said, between the two countries were time-tested and appreciated the UAE investment in different sectors.

"Pakistanis are playing a vital role in the development of the UAE by working hard." He appreciated the role being played by Al-Falah bank in the country's economic sector.

The UAE delegation comprised Minister for Labour and Social Welfare, Speaker the UAE National Assembly, Chairman al-Mashriq Bank Dubai, Vice Chairman Central Bank UAE and other prominent businessmen of Emirates. -APP
