QUETTA: CM condemns Kalat blast

QUETTA, Sept 1: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yusuf on Wednesday condemned Tuesday's bomb blast in Kalat.

He visited the Kalat Civil Hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured and directed the health authorities to provide them the best possible treatment.

He said those responsible for the attack would be brought to book soon. A strike was observed by traders in Kalat in protest against the blast. Meanwhile, victim of the explosion, Pir Bakhsh Brohi, has succumbed to his injuries, raising the death toll to four.

Hundreds of people attended the funeral of two victims of the blast, Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed and Pir Bakhsh, who were buried here. The bodies of two other victims, Tauqeer Shah and Mushtaq Shah, were sent to their native towns, Faisalabad and Chakwal, respectively.
