KARACHI, Aug 31: The leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly and President PPPP Sindh, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, has urged the provincial government to employ youths who were cleared by the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) for the post of lecturers in various faculties.

In a press statement, he said that these 741 lecturers had been offered services following exams conducted through the SPSC, but the Education Department withdrew all orders.

Khuhro was of the view that the excuse of mismanagement should not be the basis for unemployment of these youths. Meanwhile, Khuhro has filed various motions for debate in the forthcoming session of the Sindh Assembly to start from September 3.

One of these motions is with regard to the denationalization of two colleges in Karachi city - St Joseph's and St Patrick's. Dr Mehreen Bhutto, a PPP MPA, has filed two different adjournment motions in the Sindh assembly secretariat, asking for debate on the tribal clashes in the interior of Sindh where several people have been killed this year. -APP
