NAIROBI, Aug 18: India 'A' strolled into the final of the Nairobi triangular one-day series when they thrashed Kenya by six wickets on Tuesday.

The home side had made an impressive start after winning the toss when the opening pair of Kennedy Obuya and Ravindu Shah put on an opening stand of 82 in the 19th over.

But the middle and lower order failed to give the much needed support as the Indian off-spinner Ramesh Powar restricted their progress by taking three wickets that led to the collapse. Kenya were all out for 266.

It was the third successive victory for India 'A', which will now wait to know their opponents for the final on Saturday after Kenya play Pakistan 'A' on Thursday.
