PTI concerned over law and order

KARACHI, Aug 8: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI), Sindh, on Sunday expressed its concerned over deteriorating law and order situation in the province and observed that lawlessness is at its peak.

At its meeting, presided over by the party's Sindh chief, Mirza Jehangir Rehman, the PTI adopted several resolutions. One of them pointed out that rampant incidents of kidnapping, including that of a trader, Santosh Kumar, in Larkana and family members of one, Munoo Bheel in Sanghar, indicated that the government had failed in protecting innocent citizens.

The meeting expressed concern over an increase in the incidents of tribal clash and karo-kari in the province. Criticizing Gen Musharraf's recent remarks on dams and reservoirs issue, the meeting stressed on fair distribution of water among all growers.
