WASHINGTON, July 29: Ms Esperanza Gomez, executive director, US-Pakistan Business Council, has said that another delegation of US businessmen will visit Pakistan "next fall" i.e. around the month of October.

She expressed the hope that more investment opportunities would be explored, previous plans could be firmed up, and new ventures would be set up. Speaking at an economic forum, she referred to the recent visit to Pakistan of 16 senior executives from leading US companies from March 15 to 19, 2004, led by Dr Herbert J. Davis, the US Chamber's vice-president for South Asia.

"It's goal was to engage with senior Pakistan government officials and Pakistani business organizations regarding recent developments in the country's business environments and to explore new areas for investment." The delegation visited Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. -APP
