PESHAWAR, May 21: The Pakistan People’s Party has demanded the formation of an interim national government, consisting of major political groups, with a task of holding free, fair and transparent polls.
In a statement, Syed Ayub Shah, NWFP deputy general secretary, urged the government to immediately announce the elections schedule and allow political activity in the country.
He urged the government to accept the All Party Conference decisions and refrain from revengeful measures against political parties.—Bureau
