KARACHI, March 19: Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation (PICIC) will arrange a meeting between the top entrepreneurs of Indian and Pakistan at Lahore on March 20.
According to a PICIC spokesman here on Friday, top officials, diplomats will also attend the meeting-cum-dinner. Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz will be the chief guest on the occasion, while other guests included State Bank Governor Dr Ishrat Hussain, Indian High Commissioner Mani Shankar, Chairman Central Board of Revenue Abdullah Yousuf, Chairman Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Dr Tariq Hassan will also attend dinner, besides 50 top Pakistani businessmen.
He said that PICIC's board of director led by the managing director Muhammad Ali Khoja would receive top 60 executives of Indian industry at Lahore airport. India's second largest bank ICICI Bank will carry Indian businessmen through a chartered flight.
The Indian delegation included Kumar M Birla, Azim Premji, Ratan Tata, Narayan Murthy, Ambani Brothers, Adi Godrej, M S Banga, Anand Mahindra. Besides managing director ICICI K V Kamath, members of Garware and Kirlokar families and chairman of a leading public sector units like IOC and ONGO will also attend the dinner. -APP
