HYDERABAD, March 11: Hesco chief executive Tariq Arshad has advised company employees to take precautionary measures and follow safety guidelines while working on transmission lines.

Speaking at the second annual seminar on safety and first aid held at the Regional Training Centre, Jamshoro, on Wednesday, he said company officials and technical staff should not undertake any work without wearing protective gear.

Saying that any carelessness in this regard would lead to fatal accidents, Mr Arshad disclosed that safety training centres would become operational in every circle in April.

Pakistan Wapda Hydro Central Union president Abdul Latif Nizamani said officials should educate and motivate workers to take precautions during performance of their duties.
