MIRPURKHAS: Hospital without X-Ray facility

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 17: Patients are facing hardships due to non- availability of X-Ray facility in the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital. Hospital sources said X-Ray films had exhausted one month back , with the result patients were being referred to private laboratories for X-Rays.

The civil hospital charges Rs35 for an X-Ray whereas fee at private laboratories is Rs120. The people have demanded that the secretary for health and the EDO, health, should ensure the provision of X-Ray films to the hospital.

PPP: People's Party Parliamentarians MNA Syed Qurban Ali Shah and PPP Sindh Council member Shamsuddin Shaikh have said economy of the country has been destroyed due to wrong policies of the rulers.

They were talking to party activists at a protest camp held in Kot Ghulam Mohammad on Monday under the banner of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy.

The PPP leaders said problems of the people were increasing. They alleged that those who had been made federal ministers were facing cases of corruption. They said they would continue their struggle till the restoration of a true democracy.
