DHAKA, Feb 15: The organizers of a scheduled micro-credit summit in Dhaka have appealed to opposition leader Sheikh Hasina for withdrawing or defering Monday's strike.

Called by Awami League's youth front, the strike programme coincides with the inauguration of the Asia-Pacific Region Micro-credit Summit by Prime Minister Khaleda Zia at the Dhaka Sheraton Hotel.
