KARACHI, Feb 13: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited will hold an open kutchery for issuance of demand notes at Shah Street Gali here on Saturday.
The PTCL will also hold an open kutchery at Rehman Square near Wenthali Hall, Shah Wali Allah Road on Feb 19.
Another open kutchery will be held near Usman Park Chakiwara on Feb 23 while another one on Feb 28 at Pathan Masjid, Moosa Lane areas.
According to the PTCL, the open kutcheries are being held in a bid to accelerate the pace of new connections. The open kutcheries will be operative from 10am to 4pm for registration of new telephone connection demands and issuance of demand notes at the spot wherever feasible.
The applicants have been asked to come with the relevant documents (identity card, lease documents of residents, utility bills etc) so that demand notes possibly be issued on the spot.
Meanwhile, the PTCL is making arrangement for the relay of Muharram Majalis. The customers interested in using OB Line facility during the holy month are informed to submit application to the DE Phones of their respective areas along with the required NOC issued by the concerned TPO latest by Feb 20.
