LAHORE, Feb 5: Lt Gen Tauqir Zia, the former Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, said on Thursday the ICC had sent two letters to the PCB, objecting to off-the-field activities of two senior Pakistan players during the Morocco Cup and the triangular tournament in Nairobi in 2002.
Tauqir told reporters that he did not take any action as the letters did not identify the culprits and added that he asked the ICC to provide the PCB concrete evidence but it failed to do so.
It had been reported that the Anti-Corruption Unit of the ICC had written two letters to the PCB in 2002, pointing out the suspect activities of two senior Pakistan cricketers.
