KARACHI, Jan 21: An Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a killing case against Amir Khan, vice chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement Haqiqi and others as defence counsel could not appear.

Judge Feroz Mehmood Bhatti of ATC-II, who is conducting trial in Landhi jail fixed Jan 28 for the next hearing. Amir and Mohammad Tariq are being tried on charge of killing two activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on June 23.

According to prosecution, an FIR was lodged at the Landhi police station Karachi in which it was alleged that Amir Khan, along with others, killed two Muttahida activists, Mohammad Naeem and Anam Uzair in the by-elections of NA-255.-PPI
