KARACHI: Baker killed in Lyari

KARACHI, Jan 1: A young man has been killed by unidentified assassins in Lyari, police said on Thursday.

Police and Edhi sources said the body of the 25-year-old man was found in a narrow street, in the limits of the Kalri police station, on Thursday. Edhi sources said the victim’s throat was slit. He was identified as Muhammad Nadeem, who owned a bakery in Lyari. The body was sent to the Civil Hospital Karachi for post-mortem.—Staff Reporter
