MIRPURKHAS, Dec 20: Hundreds of people belonging to different localities of Satellite town staged a protest demonstration at Chandni chowk and blocked Mirwah road in protest against unannounced loadshedding.

They raised slogans against Hesco and burnt tyres. Traffic remained suspended at Mirwah road.

When police led by SPO city Nasir Qureshi tried to negotiate with protesters, it led to an exchange of hot words between them. Subsequently police picked up two protesters. Later police released them.
