KARACHI, May 12: Although the mercury soared by another 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in Sindh and Balochistan, increase in wind velocity lowered the heat effect on Sunday.

According to the Met office, the velocity of winds lashing Karachi was recorded at 26 knots. Gusty winds are lashing the city since previous Friday with an average velocity of 20 knots.—APP
