ISLAMABAD, Oct 12: Pakistan’s M. Abid Ali Khan thrashed Korea’s Xhung Hyo Woo 6-1, 7-5 on the first day of the qualifying round of the ITF Pakistan Futures International tennis championship at the PTF Tennis Complex on Sunday.
Aftab Anwar and Usman Ejaz were the other Pakistan players who advanced to the next round by winning their matches.
Meanwhile, Indian players B. Bikram Reddy and Deepinder Bains outclassed Pakistan’s Syed Zohair Raza and Usama Jamshed with similar margins (6-0, 6-0) in their respective matches.
