FAISALABAD, May 8: Nine labourers of a powerloom unit sustained injuries, five of them serious, on Wednesday when a factory roof collapsed at Noorpur in the limits of Sargodha Road police station.

Over two dozen labourers were working in a hall when the roof collapsed on them. The condition of five of the nine injured admitted to a local hospital was stated to be critical. A Rescue 15 police team and area people recovered the injured persons from debris.

BOY CRUSHED: A boy was crushed to death by a speeding bus on the Faisalabad-Sargodha Road here on Wednesday.

Muhammad Imran was crossing the road when he met an accident. He sustained serious injuries and died on the way to hospital.

Police have registered a case against the absconding driver.
