PESHAWAR, May 8: The admission of 250 medical students have been delayed even after successfully clearing the entry test and interview, three medical students Nasarullah, Munir Khan and Noman Zafar told a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday.

The affected students have made an appeal to the NWFP governor, chief secretary and health secretary to intervene and save their future from ruin as they are in no way connected with the litigation.

They said they were interviewed by the joint admission committee and verbally informed of their selection and were allowed to attend the classes. They had hardly attended classes for few days when they were stopped to attend the classes by the administration without any explanation.

They observed that almost 111 merit candidates on Self-finance, who had nothing to do with the litigation, were also denied their right to admission. This would be a big financial blow to many families they said.
