27,000-year-old skeleton found

CAIRO, May 7: A Belgian archaeological team excavating in southern Egypt has discovered a human skeleton believed to be 27,000 years old.

The discovery was made at Dandara, southeast of Qena. The skeleton was found in a trench filled with other remains from the Stone Age.—dpa
