LANDI KOTAL, May 6: A resident of Shiekmal Khel village, Baz Mohammad, has appealed to the government to help trace his son, Jamshed, who was kidnapped in Afghanistan two weeks ago.

Jamshed, an oil-tanker cleaner, was kidnapped from Bagram Air Base by unknown people two weeks back.

Driver of the oil-tanker was also kidnapped but was released three days later by the kidnappers on the condition that he would not return to Afghanistan.

Baz Mohammad, in a statement, appealed that as the Afghan interim government had released some Pakistani prisoners, the government should help in getting his son, the only bread-winner for a family of 12, released.
