LAHORE, Aug 1: A rally was staged from Ferozepur Road to Pakistani Chowk in Ichhra on Friday to mark the fall of caliphate 82 years ago.

The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans calling for re-establishment of the caliphate.

On the occasion, various speakers urged the people to reject the corrupt system along with its corrupt leaders imposed on the country and introduce the governance system given by Islam. —Staff Reporter
