KARACHI, June 13: Eight ships carrying containers, crude oil and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Kota Mesra, Hanjin Qingdao and Calvin P. Tutus to unload and load containers, Fu Ning Hai to offload coal, Ful Rich to unload and load general cargo and Chemstar Venus to load ethanol were berthed.
Five ships, Fantasy-1, Kota Mesra, Kapitan Byankin, APL Pusan and Oel Strength departed on Friday, while Sea Princess, Clavin P. Titus, Hanjin Qingdao, Full Rich, High Trader and Cosco Lian, Yun Gang are due to sail out on Saturday.
A total tonnage of 96,343 tons comprising 51,273 tons of export tonnage and 45,070 tons of import cargo was handled on Friday.
The following ships are due on Saturday: Skychemi to load ethanol, Johar to unload crude oil, Oel Mumbai, Saigon Express, Kota Gunawan, Harmony and Sima Pride with containers and Jiao Cheng with general cargo.
