FAISALABAD, June 8: The Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (Fesco) has decided to persuade millions of its consumers to save energy by launching a campaign in which stickers containing attractive messages will be distributed free of cost.

Fesco chief Ahmed Saeed said on Sunday the campaign was aimed at persuading the consumers to help the company cope with present power crisis. He expressed his hope that the drive would convince the consumers to save maximum electricity for the whole country, particularly their own area.

He said distribution of fascinating labels containing messages for conserving energy would be started soon in Faisalabad, Bhakhar, Jhang, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab and Toba Tek Singh.

Students of public and even private schools would also be offered to join this campaign, he said and added that the company’s operation staff and bill distributors had been assigned the task to materialise this drive.
