KARACHI, June 3: Eleven ships, carrying containers and to load ethanol and cement, are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Mare Threcium, Mol Admiration and Wan Hai-311 to unload and load containers, and Iran Dagheri to load cement were berthed.
The ships, which departed included Noor-i-Madina, Hardina, Team Al-Emirates and Cosco Dammam, while Mare Threcium, Orient Stride, Wan Hai-311, Mol Admiration, Kety-2 and Blida are due to sail out on Wednesday.
A total tonnage of 86,760 tons, comprising 45,953 tons of export cargo and 40,807 tons of import cargo, was handled on Tuesday.
The following ships are due on Wednesday: Velbella and Red Sea Spirit, to load 9,000 and 17,000 tons of cement, Keo Young, Princes, to load ethanol, APL Jeddah, Mol Affinity, CsaV Teno, Creek,Global Progress, Kota Puri and Harmony, with containers.
