KARACHI, May 23: Eight ships carrying containers, general cargo and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves active where nine ships, Martina-3, Sea Princess to load cement, Cap Colorado, Gulf Bridge, Hyundai Future Rhoneborg to unload and load containers, Panagia to load rice and Rising Sun and Doris, oil tankers, were berthed on Friday.

Sailing was also active as seven vessels including Mol Ability, APL Pusan, Kapitan Byankin, Markella, Java Cement, Tiheroula, and Sea Giant departed on Friday, while Gulf Bridge, Cap Colorado, Rhoneborg, Al-Aqeela-1, Falcon, Hyundai Future and Doris are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 0.122m tons comprising 31,686 tons of export tonnage and 89,801 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Lalazar with crude oil, Oel Mumbai, Oel Shreyas, Creek with containers, United Star and Tigris with coal, Hyun Jin Ks-3 to load cement and Bao Fu Man with general cargo.
