KARACHI, May 9: US Ambassador to Pakistan Anne W. Patterson met the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leadership at the Khurshid Memorial Hall here on Friday, and expressed her government’s resolve to interact and consult with all democratic forces in Pakistan.

“The United States is committed to cooperate with the newly-elected government on a wide range of issues that are important to both countries,” Ms Patterson told the MQM leaders present at the meeting.

On her arrival, MQM parliamentary party leader in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar, along with other party figures, welcomed the ambassador, who was accompanied by US Consul General Kay L. Anske.—APP
