KARACHI, May 6: Two ships carrying containers and diesel oil were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers, chemicals and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Maersk Ohio, Leopard-B, Nova Noor, H.S Acacia, Aktin, Delight Victoria and Venus, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, seeds, palm oil, diesel oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 79,790 tons comprising 61,464 tons of import and 18,326 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Al-Soor-II, Lopard-B, Nova Noor, H.S Acacia and Venus sailed out.
