LAHORE, March 12: Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) for Men and Government College for Women won the general trophies here in the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education inter-collegiate athletics championship for boys and girls on Wednesday.

PGC, with 157 points, won the boys’ trophy while Akhwan College, Burki, remained the runners-up with 87 points. With 53 points each, Government College and Government Islamia College, Civil Lines, shared the runners-up position.

Meanwhile in the girls section, defending champions Government College scored 87 points to retain the title.
