ISLAMABAD, Feb 26: Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shahid Nadeem Balooch reshuffled three deputy superintendents of police (DSPs) and five station house officers (SHOs) on Tuesday, an official source said.
He said DSP Ms Nighat Mujtaba had been transferred to the diplomatic protection department (DPD) and Zahida Perveen posted as the circle in charge of the women police station, while Gulfam Nasir had been posted at the security division.
Spokesman for the police said, SHO Tarnol Akram Japha had been removed and Inspector Tanveer Ahmed Abbasi appointed in his place. Inspector Qasim Niazi has been posted as SHO Sihala replacing inspector Asghar Satti.
Inspector Khalid Mehmood Awan has been posted as SHO Barakahu, while Inspector Fiaz Ranjha has been directed to report to the Police Lines.
Inspector Sajjad Bukhari has been appointed as SHO Nilor, replacing Inspector Safdar Hussain.
Inspector Arshad Ali Khokhar has been posted as SHO Shahzad Town, replacing inspector Naeem Ahmed Sheikh.—Staff Reporter
