KARACHI, Feb 20: Eight ships carrying palm oil, containers and to load kinno are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.
Five ships, Oriental Bouguet, Adriatic Wind, tankers, APL Amman, to unload and load containers, Bodar to load bulk cargo and Atlantic Leader to unload and load general cargo were berthed after the departure of seven.
The ships which departed were led by Mol Admiration, Limari, Creek, Oel Spirit, Sun Neptune, Noor-e-Madina and Orient Bouguet, while APL Amman, Banga Lanka, Chitral, Filippa and Atlantic Leader are due to sail out on Thursday.
A total tonnage of 82,660 tons comprising 36,277 tons of export cargo including 16,300 tons of clinkers and 46,383 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.
The following ships are due on Thursday: Spica to load 2,244 tons of kinoo, Al-Maqwa to offload high-speed diesel, liquid Challenge to offload 10,500 tons of palm oil, Soon Fu, Ninth Ocean, Calvin P. Titus, Hanjin Chittagon and Orient Stride.
