HYDERABAD, April 12: The City police obtained a three-day remand for three activists of the Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz in a case of car snatching from the court of the City ACM and Civil Judge, Saudagar Ali Solangi here on Friday.

The accused included Dur Muhammad alias Abdullah Magsi, Aijaz alias Safar Magsi and Riaz Khawar.

According to the ASP, City, Sharjeel Karim Kharal, the gang of three car snatchers was smashed a few days ago. They had been operating in various parts of Sindh, especially Karachi.

He said that they had left Qasimabad in a car when they were intercepted at the Pakistan Chowk.

The ASP said that two TT pistols, a 9mm gun, and two magazines had been recovered from the possession of the gang members, who belonged to Nawabshah.

He said that two separate cases under section 401 PPC and 13-D of the Arms Ordinance had been registered, and added that the three were affiliated with the JSQM.
