SHARJAH, Oct 22: Objections from the Zimbabwean Cricket Union (ZCU) have forced the CBFS to revert back to the original tournament schedule.

Last week, organisers had changed the itinerary to allow Pakistan to play a curtain raiser against Sri Lanka on Friday, a holiday in the Middle East that traditionally attracts the biggest crowds.

The ZCU has protested, however, as the change left them with two back-to-back matches and four matches in five days.

Pakistan, meanwhile, would have been left with a break before each match. Zimbabwe will now play Sri Lanka in the first match on Friday.
