TIMERGARA, Jan, 7: A man allegedly shot his son dead on Sunday night in Lajbok village in the jurisdiction of the Balambat police station, it is learnt on Monday.

Police said Habibullah opened fire on his son Farman Ali, 25, and escaped.

Farman died on the spot. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

The reason behind the crime is said to be some domestic problems.
