QUETTA, Dec 15: Gas supply to the Sui purification plant was suspended from the Pir Koh gas field after a main pipeline was blown up near Dera Bugti district’s Pash Bogi area on Saturday morning.

According to police sources, four- to five-feet-long portion of the 24-inch diameter pipeline was damaged.

Repair work has been started and gas supply is expected to be restored by Sunday morning.
