PESHAWAR, Dec 9: The NWFP government has granted a 60-day remission to prisoners, subject to usual restrictions and limitations, to mark the International Human Rights Day which is being observed on Monday.

According to a jail official, the remission would not apply to prisoners who had been convicted by the National Accountability Courts or Anti-terrorism Courts.
