TAXILA, Sept 12: A woman was killed in a road accident here on Wednesday.

Rehana, 47, was crossing the GT Road near Ahmednagar in the jurisdiction of the Wah Cantonment police when a Rawalpindi-bound dumper coming from Burhan hit her.

She was taken to the tehsil hospital where she died. The driver of the vehicle escaped after the accident.
