KARACHI, Sept 7: The Lyari Town on Friday started getting 6mgd (million gallon daily) additional water from the K-III project through a 33-inch dedicated pipeline.

Though the new pipeline has informally been commissioned, leakages at 17 points have led to the postponement of its formal inauguration by City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal till after repairs.— Staff Reporter
