NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 29: A man was killed and eight others, including five children, were seriously injured when their car overturned near Bhirya town on National Highway on Wednesday.

Reports said that Manzoor Ahmed Dahri with his eight family members and relatives was returning from Pir Jo Goth to Shahpur Chakar after the ziarat of Pir Pagara when their car overturned as its tyre-rod broke down near Bhirya town.

Manzoor Ahmed died on spot whereas his daughter Aisha, Hajran Dahri, Ikhtiar Ali, Azra Dahri, Karima Dahri, Saima Dahri, Jannat and Ahmed Khan Dahri were injured.

The body and the injured persons were taken to taluka hospital Bhirya.
