KARACHI, Aug 12: The Muttahida Talba Mahaz has expressed concern over the non-arrest of the killers of its former president, Wasif Aziz, assassinated here two months ago.
A meeting of MTM Karachi chapter, chaired by Hasan Hammad, noted that the government was not sincere in the implementation of law and order in the city instead the rulers were patronising the killers.
The meeting condemned rustication of a student from the Dow Medical College and demanded his immediate restoration. It also passed a resolution against the privatisation of Islamia College and condemned the recent statement of a US presidential candidate about attacking the holy places of Islam and Pakistan.—PPI
