Two killed in accident

JACOBABAD, Aug 1: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Sindh-Balochistan bypass on Wednesday. Karim Bux and Azizullah were coming to Jacobabad from Balochistan when a speedy trailer hit their motorcycle. As a result, Karim Bux died on the spot and Azizullah was seriously injured. He was brought to the Civil Hospital Jacobabad where he died.

Two robbers were arrested after a brief encounter with the police in Mohajir colony here on Tuesday, claimed the Civil Lines SHO, adding that two TT pistols and one motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.

According to the SHO, milkman Allahdino Kehar was intercepted by two armed men in Mohajir colony who robbed him of a mobile phone and motorcycle. As the robbers, later identified as Imtiaz Talani and Ahmed Nawaz Talani, were trying to flee, the police reached there and arrested them after a brief encounter.
