HYDERABAD, July 31: Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Basheer Qureshi has said that ‘apathetic’ attitude of the government towards the flood victims was condemnable and announced that his party activists would stage a 24-hour five-day long hunger strike in Hyderabad from August 3 to 7 to highlight the issue.

He was speaking at a news conference at the media centre of his party on Tuesday afternoon. He said that the government had failed to provide relief to the flood victims and thousands of affected people were still living without shelters.
