ISLAMABAD, March 9: Islamabad Airport is being given a new look by uplifting and renovation projects being finalised at a cost of Rs15 million.
These projects are in addition to those which have recently been completed at a cost of Rs52 million. This was stated by spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Malik Farooq. These project would be completed within this financial year, he said.
The projects include giving a new look to the 35,000 sq km Concourse Hall from where the offices of various airlines would be shifted to new place besides removing 24 toilets.
The floor of the concourse hall will be replaced with stylish tiles and mosaic.
The spokesman regretted any inconvenience caused to the visitors on account of reconstruction and renovation. Renovation and revamping of domestic and international lounges have been completed.—APP
