QUETTA, March 8: Police have recovered arms and ammunition from a mosque in Saraghargai area of the provincial capital, on Thursday night, official sources said.

Sources said that area police conducted a search in the mosque on a tip off about the presence of arms and ammunition.

During the search police recovered kalashinkovs, rifles and several thousand rounds of different weapons.

However, no arrest was reported in this connection.

The police registered a case against unknown persons and an investigation was launched.
