Caddick claims five wickets

CHRISTCHURCH, March 7: England paceman Andrew Caddick warmed up for next week’s first Test against New Zealand by grabbing a five wicket haul on the first day of the tour match against Canterbury Thursday.

Caddick took 5-69 from 22 overs as Canterbury declared on 212-8, steadied by a knock of 82 from Chris Harris. England were 28 without loss in reply at stumps.
